Give a Social Security number
Every Polish citizen automatically receives a Social Security number as soon as they are born. Nevertheless, it is also possible to give a Social Security number to a foreigner. This may be the case where there are adequate legal grounds for doing so. The first such condition is to obtain a check-in in Poland.
Grounds for a foreigner's Social Security number
In order for an application for a Social Security number to be granted, appropriate legal conditions must arise. A foreigner usually applies for a Social Security because it is required by the ZUS or some office. It is the responsibility of the entity requiring the alien to provide a Social Security number to give a legal argument as to why the number should be given to the person concerned. Having such information, the alien only remains to submit an application with legal justification and documents confirming identity.
